I used that exclusively and did very well on the INRAT first time through.

That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something in the CAR's....don't know what happened with this guy...he was awesome on his preflight....that's why I gave him his letter but then he just vapour locked on his flight test. Oh well, it happens. Thanks...

In order to upgrade to the class 2 or 1, the CARS state that you need 10 recommends. The CARS do not specify "successful recommends." So, this is my question, if one student fails a flight test, is that still counted as a recommend? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I definitely agree with mcrit.....stay away. And yes, not very pleasant people. My experience anyway.

I've got a few class 3 renewals under my belt over the years and they have all gone well....nice to know the 2 ride isn't much different other than calibre of instruction.

Just wondering if anyone has done the class 2 ride recently. Have one coming as an upgrade and was looking for any words of wisdom.
