Re: Running out of Funds?
Isn’t that literally “the news”? And where in this article does it mention two weeks of funding remaining? That’s what the OP stated. I didn’t read the article, just pointing out, one poster said he “got the news” and the other poster saying “you didn’t, you just read the ch-aviation article” to wh...

Nah you aren’t missing anything. The typical trolls here haven’t read anything negative about flair in the media in awhile so they need to keep pushing their hate and strange desire for the failure of a Canadian Airline.

You get 4 hours credit for a sick day, same as before LOU 5… and your protected to MMG Exactly Why so many people and now flair pilots continue to lie on this forum is concerning. This co-Joe character is so butt hurt about the latest Lou (which I voted no also) he posts an easily debunked lie on a...

Re: Flair CEO Stephen Jones ousted!
Given the axe? More likely he saw the writing is on the wall and got out before the music stopped. …admittedly never flown Flair but from what a couple of Flair pilots have told me, namely they don’t even buy printer paper or have ACARS in most aircraft, I’m wondering if they even play boarding and...

Re: New Flair payscle, highest starting rate in the country
How could you possibly call this a win in this economy? FO tops out at 100k USD? Wow. You’ll get to see what it’s like to be 22 year old FO starting at Jetblue. Just kidding, they take home way more than you (Freaking tax) Still can’t even start at 100K CAD as an airline pilot. Plus the OT is strai...

Re: Flair Suspending Growth Plans amid Delivery Delays and Debt
I posted this article to show that ADP has had issues with pay in the past. You really are a simple minded boy aren’t ya? :goodman: So by that measure it would be fair game to post articles about Flair having aircraft repossessed and owing tens of millions of dollars in taxes in order to show a tre...

Re: Flair Suspending Growth Plans amid Delivery Delays and Debt
Sorry the article was behind a paywall. Here it is About 55,000 staff at EY’s US operations woke on Tuesday to find the wages they were paid on Friday had disappeared from their bank accounts after an error by the accounting firm’s payroll provider ADP. The Big Four firm said ADP had “erroneously r...

This was an ADP error
ADP…Same payroll Flair uses. Flair Staff have been given an email from ADP regarding their mistake
Yes Flair has significant financial issues but this particular one doesn’t fit your narrative

Re: Flair Suspending Growth Plans amid Delivery Delays and Debt
That would be true if the information posted was accurate… from what I’ve read from this smilin Jack character it’s not, he really isn’t being truthful with his comments Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t mean it’s true. Anyway against my better judgement I’ve wasted my time yet again on this...

Re: Flair Suspending Growth Plans amid Delivery Delays and Debt
It's no rumour. We are losing people like crazy. Those that are left behind have stopped answering the phone when crew sched calls. Double time just doesn't have the same appeal any more and the company seems to think it's better to cancel flights than to offer triple time. A full PVR turn was just...

They are communicating…just not to people like you on this forum. They explained the reasons for the focus on sun destinations during the winter months via several town halls and despite a significant amount of cancellations and delays due weather and maintenance over the holiday the loads have been...

I assure you I have nothing to do with them. I'd be very interested to hear from anyone on here who does/has worked there, or any past/present students however. Anyone employed at Flair as well. It seems Tbaylx has exited stage right for several months now, not overly reassuring. Tbaylx is in Austr...

Re: Flair pilot program
Hello Cadet Agree with the above comment. As a Flair pilot for almost 5 years, I would get the PPL first. The cadet program is definitely a financial gamble that I personally would not take but that’s your choice of course . True Flair my go under or merge before or soon after you complete training,...

Re: Day trip schedules
CYXX closed and unfortunately the YXX crews have to commute to YVR
The CYOW base closed but became a pilot port with the addition of CYUL (which is plus for the CYUL commuters) so no pilots need to move for now Anyway…awaiting a LOU regarding ports which was supposed to come out a month ago.

Re: 777 Funded Flair Using Insurance Customers' Deposits
Yeah been hearing that from people like you for the last 5 years. There’s a response. Who will step up and fund Flairs operations when, not if, when, flying demand slows. Which it already has. I don’t know,,,maybe the same people that funded flair during Covid. Either way I shouldn’t be ...

Re: 777 Funded Flair Using Insurance Customers' Deposits
Yeah been hearing that from people like you for the last 5 years. Any idea how Flair plans to operate 50 fins? After Covid there were plenty of expats needing to come home, that was your supply of left seat pilots, now there are better paying jobs for that, not sure where you’ll find the...
