Re: 67% yes
Air Canada TA, ratified by 67% Westjet TA, ratified by 87% Flair TA, ratified by 65% None of them impressed anyone much. Air Canada is in the spotlight now, but AC pilots were only 2% more supportive than Flair’s. But first-year Flair first officers still earn more. Canadians need to learn how patte...

Re: It is imminent.......be ready.
Remember when I was called a troll for stating that ALPA is going to cave and only get you a starting salary of 75-85k? Welcome to ALPA. Pepperidge farm remembers. But seriously, count me in the I thought it would be different this time camp. I'm sorry to all the Junior AC pilots that this TA hurts...

Re: TA
The MEC spent too much time and money on talking a big game and not enough on actually doing their jobs I guess. Great social media campaign, lots of public support, and this is the deal? They didn't even wait until flights had to be cancelled? The only ones with a backbone in aviation anymore are t...

Re: Any Update On The New Contract?
Apologies gentlemen my sarcasm was not very clear.
A mid contract raise should be an easy yes vote. This is so bad that many are voting no. I've voted, it's a no thank you for me.

Today's roadshow was an absolute circus, with chaos reigning supreme and control nowhere to be found.

Re: Any Update On The New Contract?
Lower MMG means nothing without lower OT start and lower maximum monthly credit scheduling. I'm not sure I agree. If you compare the current rate with the current MMG of 85, would the pilots be making more with the new rate and new MMG? If so then that (in itself) is a win. Plus with a lower MMG it...

If those two things dropped along with the MMG then I bet this would be an unquestionable yes vote.
Instead this just allows them to pay less in the lulls and avoid paying overtime in the peaks.

HOLD THE LINE.
I will be handing in my resignation if this passes. I am not willing to be worked like a dog for a third of the year.

Re: Any Update On The New Contract?
Bad deal. MMG takes a dive to 75, while the OT threshold holds steady at 88 and goes up with each open flight picked up. The monthly credit cap remains at 92, except for those four months where it's a free for all. Their plan is obvious: keep the crews lean, schedule close to 75 during the lulls, th...

Re: Any Update On The New Contract?
Latest rumor is they want people to fly on GDOs for straight pay, hopefully it's just a rumor.
