I was flying with the FAs and they are still wearing their green lanyards. What a great crew!
Whatever happened to all those World Class Contract lanyards?!

Re: Flight Attendant strike vote opens on July 28th
Aren't you a funny guy, I don't know any Pilot that was in a position of strength to negotiate anything for their first job. The fact of the matter is, almost every single newhire FA's job options, are minimum wage jobs. How much do you think AC should pay a 1st year FA? Boomers UNITED! I think Fli...

Re: Grievance update for the 285ish former Jazz pilots affected by Flow
If any Jazz Flow Through Pilot thinks the existing Seniority List is going to get changed - you are completely delusional. Alot of the 285 already know it's not gonna change. Those numbers are lost till we retire, they are only seeking a fair compensation without hurting anyone else not involved. I...

Where is JBI & Bede on this? Too busy pushing yes votes & shilling for WJ? Can you imagine ALPA allowing Delta to hire foreign workers on visas?? LOL I don't work for WJ anymore. Haven't for some time. I work for Employment and Social Development Canada now. Didn't stop you from being an ALPA apolo...

Re: Recall of MEC Chair & Vice Chair
Once the MEC brought forward the TA...the leverage was gone. I loved my $100k pay raise as a WB Skip. Having terrible narrowbody rules doesn't affect me fortunately. I'm still buying RPs beers & dinner though. These guys are pissed i had the feeling you guys ( wb ) were trying to get a max days mon...

If you're going to get all self righteous about protecting the 'profession', at least spell it right. You look like a uneducated meat head.sportingrifle wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 10:48 pm The real sportingrifle has walked 2 pilot picket lines in an attempt to better the proffession How many have you walked?

Wow hopefully that doesn't happen again to the cwipp pension. Definitely no guarantees with a target.
Pretty happy with MPU increases from the last round. Combine that with the $100k final few years pay increase for me, Im sitting pretty. Good luck!

Re: Where do Air Canada pilots compare to other big airlines?
I am debating my future with going into the airlines and where to go to school...how does the new contract for Air Canada pilots compare to US airlines? I assume it is pretty close now? Lol...no... Re: Air Canada stock up 45% since the pilots contract
I still can't believe my luck with ALPA. I am getting a nice $85k check, plus a $100k a year raise and my stocks are ripping. I don't know why people are upset. One day you will get this too. I didn't have time for any of the events and stuff but to all that did, thanks! My bank account appreciates ...

This stuff won't affect me as I'll be hand flying my Navion in retirement...but Project "DragonFly" at Airbus “Inspired by biomimicry, the systems being tested have been designed to identify features in the landscape that enable an aircraft to “see” and safely manoeuver autonomously within its surro...

Re: Does ALPA ever strike?
The Negotiating Committee legal advice came from CaleyWray, a Canadian firm. They know Canadian labour law and political system better than ALPA legal in Washington. So you don't think " Big ALPA" had anyone in the room September 14th? No one from ALPA National would have flown there??? That's what...

Re: Does ALPA ever strike?
Do you somehow believe that it’s “Big ALPA” that somehow decides whether an airline strikes or not? Because if you do, you are out to lunch. Rather it’s the voting members of the MEC(who are elected at the LEC level by the pilots in that base) who decide whether to send an AIP(agreement in principl...

Re: SHOW UNITY. VOTE NO!
You are the embodiment of the stereotypical Canadian pilot that doesn't know their worth. You make the company's job of keeping WAWCON suppressed easy. Prior to the TA, were you telling 98% of your fellow pilots that a "World Class Contract" was delusional? It's amazing how many people out there wi...

I'm a year 1 FO. I've got a kid, a mortgage and I finance my car. I can make ends meet but with not much savings. This TA provides a major uplift in pay and I can finally start putting money aside. I'm a Yes. Me too! I love this $100 a hour raise!! My raise is literally more than your total pay

I was 1000% let down by the occurrences of 14th-15th of October. 1000%. I was READY. Sorry, but why wear a Strike Lanyard now??? That ship was ready to leave port on the Night of the 17th. It's come and gone, as has our momentum. The Strike Lanyard is going to get exponentially more silly as time p...

Should we donate the World Class Contract lanyards to Rwanda?
I see Rwandair is looking for contract improvements...should we donate our World Class Contract lanyards to a 3rd World Country to help them raise their bar? Air Canada pilots couldn't even really beat WestJet so definitely doesn't make sense to have the pins & stickers. Does anyone know where the e...
