Re: FOAG 2025
What are the new rates of you don't mind me asking. Not a porter pilot. Just curious.

Re: SHOW UNITY. VOTE NO!
I am at WG so while I do not have a direct dog in the AC result, I do because it is now up to AC to set the bar for all airlines. Here at WG, post merger announcement, we were watching the WS negotiations closely. There was speculation about how we could help out the WS guys if they went on strike ...

Re: SHOW UNITY. VOTE NO!
Didn't you say you were a No vote a week ago? Why are you now pumping this contract so hard? I'm not pumping the TA. I simply stated that it's the best that the AC pilots have ever negotiated. I don't think I stated that I was a NO vote. I actually haven't voted yet. I'm not satisfied with the TA e...

Re: SHOW UNITY. VOTE NO!
The simple fact is that AC did not ‘get back’ to the buying power that was in place over two decades ago. You're right. It's also a simple fact that this TA is the most successful one that Air Canada pilots have ever negotiated and represents the largest increase. Anybody who thought that getting b...

Re: AC vs Delta wages (CAD converted)
This is from last year and does mention the cost of buying a house in Canada has risen so much but other than that depending on where you live in both countries, they have their cost advantages and disadvantages. I also found many other articles that basically say the same thing, the wages are gene...

Re: Recall of the NC
All I read about on this TA issue is people complaining about junior pay. Does nobody care about the lack of lifestyle improvements? Training outside the block? Working 18days on a wide body? The money is there… but how about freeing up some more time off in the month. I think the QOL improvements ...

Re: Recall of the NC
If you meant that and were genuine you would have sent those offers via PM. Instead you try to publicly demean and sarcastically insult those who disagree with you publicly. Very low indeed. His profanity-laced diatribes towards me were very public, were they not? In any case I disagree that an off...

Re: Recall of the NC
At this point Im pretty sure we can all see you're trying to troll or gaslight everyone. Have fun with that. This pearl of wisdom from someone who's profile was created 5 days ago and has 4 posts. Who's puppet account are you? I already posted my pearls of wisdom in my earlier response to you. I br...

Re: Recall of the NC
Then they wonder why first and second years won't just zip it and put the gear up all while complaining they had to pay a hundred dollars for drinks on their layover but behind their back are wondering if you are saying they are greedy. You've shown with this TA and the attitude you have towards yo...

Re: Recall of the NC
Pilots on years 1 and 2 received the second biggest raises in this TA (34.5% and 33.3%), the largest raises were to NB and WB FO's in years 3 and 4 (37% up to 70%). The QOL improvements and changes to per diem also benefit the junior members the most, as would ALPA oversight into monthly pairing co...

Re: Recall of the NC
That is very misleading. Only a small % of FOs are upgrading in a year. and that will be drying up very quickly moving forward. Of course you’re correct, but the point I’m making is that flat pay doesn’t last long in the grand scheme of things (though I know from first hand experience that it sure ...

Re: Play The Long Game
I'd just like to point out something that I don't think has really been discussed here on these forums. You all voting to keep FO pay low also reduces the chance that Flair, Porter, or WestJet need to increase their wages to compete with Air Canada. So there's an opportunity cost you aren't factorin...
