Re: New pay scales
It could. Upgrades are based on seniority plus other factors but having the qualifications when people senior to you do not can result in a faster upgrade. It also depends on what the jet pic is on. The requirements involve having time on aircraft over 100,000 lbs. I know you and I have talked abou...

What a shame this TA passed. Too bad Sunwing's LOU wasn't negotiated a bit sooner and that might have given the Flair pilots some real perspective on where the industry is at right now... Sunwing's LOU was negotiated BECAUSE of Flair pilots. How can you people not see this? You think that day's aft...

Re: Aviation Medical Costs
Any recommends on good doctor's in the Toronto/Etobicoke/Mississauga area? I went to Dr. Kapoor last year and he seems to know nothing about aviation at all. After waiting for him to show up from a conference for 45 minutes, the medical took an hour n half while he looked up what it exactly was he w...

Re: Sunwing fleet and pilot rosters for the 2015/2015 season
With the wet leases there are supposedly a few more foreign pilots in Canada working for Sunwing this winter than there would have been with the dry leases. That's just what's been said by upper, whether it's more than last year or more than would have been this year had the foreign workers been all...

Re: New TA reached!
so why do some, not all, Air Canada pilots dislike me for something that happened when I was just starting out my flying career? probably because in general you come across as a bitter EDITED haha. It's a personal thing, not professional. Imagine how bitter this guys gonna be in 5,10 yrs. Good luck...

Re: New TA reached!
You joined Jazz four years ago, in 2007. So in 1995 when the Picher arbitration award was released, you would have been just going into Grade 7? Your arrogance is exeeded only by your ignorance. Before picking up someone else's fight, you might want to educate yourself about the relevant facts and ...

Wyndham: thought you were applying to Ornge? Stop asking everyone for info on the interview. What do you honestly think they ask you? One good guess is HR questions which are pretty standard! Prepare like everyone else and not get questions asked previously and have a pre prepared answer in the int...

that's really not that much, sounds like a lot of sitting around? Is this more or less the same at any of the bases or planes?
Anyone who's been for the interview care to share some of what they like to ask? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Flight Crew Positions Voyageur
My sources tell me there is only one groundschool left and they've called out for most of the interviews already. They've just completed 2 groundschools. I'm sure they will keep looking shortly after though so keep the resumes flowing if you're interested, and keep your file updated. any idea what ...

I heard from them today. Doing interviews this week and next, didn't ask beyond that. I tried to ask how many positions they are hiring for but they wouldn't say. Interviews are only in North Bay and you have to pay your own way.

Re: Air Canada Interviews
In the section that has you tick off how many "large multi-turboprob/jet PIC, FO" and "small multi PIC, FO" hours, if you have +1000hr of PC12 captain time, which is your only turbine command, are you basically SOL being able to tick off that you actually have captain time, since its not multi?

Re: Flight Crew Positions Voyageur
on their website it says the min for CRJ/dash F/O's is 1000TT, 500MPIC and atpl. Does anyone know if that 500MPIC is a hard limit? I know its been on there a long time well prior to the job ad. I'm well under 500MPIC but have 3000tt and well over 1000 turbine. Thanks for all the previous info as well.
