Re: ORNGE & OCC

Yes the Orange Country is certainly coming to Ornge. Do you not know about their 3 reality TV show proposals?
It's no wonder they don't require a training bond, they have $287 million tax dollars!

One of these days the auditor general will nail ORNGE to the wall for many millions of dollars over spent from some of there dispatcher's mistakes. I can't wait to see that happen!!!! Remember who you ar...

Re: Voyageur Airways

Well said Chu Me! I as younger pilot have a lot to learn from fellas such as yourself, Cat & even Doc. Perhaps if I had the opportunity to chat with you 2 years ago, things may have been different. It's a rocky industry... but who has more fun than we do????!!!! Love what you do, hate what you don't...

OK.... Benwa, you've never owned your own company and had guys repeatedly use you for your training only to piss off and go some where else after they assured you of their word they'd sick around for a FULL year. Now, what would you do in that position, how would you get guys to stay in that seat? M...

There is always two sides the every coin.....

Doc, you have a good point. Why should we have to put $$$ upfront? Well my men, how would you feel if you gave everyone the same opportunity to come into your company, train them only to have each one move onto another company? There goes your investment.... out the door. Perhaps you should look at ...

Goverment regulating flightschools is now here?

New law has just passed, starting Sept. flight shcools are to shell over $800 (as a membership fee) in order to teach CPL and up. Having said that, the schools are required to gracefully hand over 1% of all income provided by the CPL training. Thats a lot of $$ considering the cost of getting your t...

Thanx Comet, thats exactly what I wanted to know. These guys that can't respect the single engine apperently can't fly it the way it was ment to. I may be wrong but, didn't they all train in a single engine aircraft??? The reason I ask is for a possible charter operation in southern ontario. Perhaps...

I agree to what you are saying Carpeblue, although I don't beleive that will happen anytime soon. Sure, if all the pilots were to organize a strike and not fly till something was done, than great! We would be the ones in the drivers seat with the demands. It sure would be nice to see aviation in thi...

Where do those guys mostly move onto?
I suppose you could log some good time seeing as you have the opp. to advance to the CRJ, or even the Dash7, if you're able to hold on that long.
Thanx for the scoop rez.
