Re: Radio Silence
I worked ramp while working on my CPL so I'm no stranger to that. I'll sling a fuel hose and chocks for a few months again if I have to but I figured I'd try my hand at landing a right seat somewhere off the bat. I'll see about doing a Manitoba trip in the future I suppose and see where that get's m...

Re: Radio Silence
I've applied to Fast Air/Vanguard, Missinippi, Perimeter, Skynorth, and Wings over Kississing already with not much luck. I've applied eastward to the other 703s and medevacs there too like, Air Bravo, Thunder, Wasaya, PAL, etc I've considered doing a trip to Winnipeg and handing out resumes in pers...

Radio Silence
Hey fellas, Lot's of silence so far on the job application front over the last three months. I understand that the middle of summer tends to be pretty quiet in terms of hiring. Wondering if anyone knows if anywhere is looking for lower time folks like me. (I know we're a dime a dozen) I'm based in S...

Re: Air Tindi
Sorry fellas, Tindi got back to me awhile ago and from they mentioned all their PTFO slots were filled. They do not hire direct entry FOs, only Captains.

Re: Multi IFR training
Cool, so why not share the rate? I didn’t want to share a rate that might not be current anymore, so I sent it via PM. At the time I did the training earlier this year, it was $500/hr for the plane and $100/hr for the instructor. Could be different now. Instructing is a side gig for these guys and ...

Thank's careerpilot, I'll give them a shout.careerpilot? wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 8:50 am Try Jetpro out of Josephburg. They are excellent instructors with airline and military backgrounds, and the airplane is beautiful. Wait list is relatively short, especially if you’re already close to finished.

Re: Air Tindi
I did!
Got some good info from the Ops Manager during the info night, but I thought I'd get input from folks on here as well. Thanks again to YG for the insight into life in Yellowknife and Tindi the other day.

Re: Air Tindi
Thanks, Donald
That seems to be the general consensus from the folks I've talked to along the way. Stand up operation from what I've heard, PPC right away and no training bonds holding you back like some other outfits.
I'll see about reaching out to him for some more info, thanks again.

Air Tindi
Hi there, I'm about a month away from wrapping up my Multi and group 1 IFR and just had Air Tindi stop by the school last night for a presentation. Basically gave us the run down of what it's like living and flying in Yellowknife and north. They mentioned that they have a "Part-Time First Officer" p...
