Re: Flight Instructors (job-career?) - why so negative?

I have several thoughts about this. The first is the person I run into with the worst attitude towards instructors is my own CFI. In his words "instructors are a dime a dozen". It blows my mind how badly he treats his instructors and one cannot be surprised if the head of the school thinks so badly ...

His neighbors just don't like airplanes.
I don't think I would like airplanes either if he was my neighbor! Based on that article he needs some glasses. One pair so he can go read up on good airmanship and another pair so he can see the snowdrifts.

Re: no soup for you

A business or institution cannot arbitrarily refuse cash. There must be a reasonable circumstance to support a no cash policy. This is from the Bank of Canada website: "What is "legal tender"? A "tender" is an offer of payment of a debt. In Canada, legal tender consists of coins issued by the Royal...

Re: Yes people there is a difference between THEN and THAN.

I agree that spelling and grammer has really down hill. The one thing that really gets me is "i'm", "im", or just "i". How hard is it to press the shift button down to capitalize "I"? I usually ignore it on the internet because it's not going to change. In a professional environment however, there a...

For those who take offense that anyone would care enough to ask what happened .How would you feel if no-one cared ??? If those good guys and bad guys deaths were in vain because nobody learned anything from their deaths. We cannot let the deaths of these people go un-noticed.We have to learn from t...

I just had a problem with professors original statement. My original statement explicitly left open the possibility of non-Muslim terrorists by qualifying my statement with the word "virtually". There was no need to provide the McVeigh example, as I was not denying that McVeigh types exist. We shou...

I'm not arguing about who should or who shouldn't be checked. I just had a problem with professors original statement. If anybody should be left alone it's the little old grammas who get the full treatment, some who don't even know where they are going. hmmm.... maybe they should be carefully checked.

The one that you are looking for might be a skit from the show "Thank God You're Here". If it is, Youtube removed it (copywrite), although someone might have reposted it.

If people heard the engine fail and cries for help then why didn't they do anything about it?
Widow, that must be absolutely heartbreaking.

Thank you gli77. I agree with you.
Perhaps the moderators could start a new forum devoted to safety issues and then people could post as much as they want?

I work on the ramp for an airline (not an fbo). My biggest complaint are the diva pilots, and the guys who have been flying as a f/o on a 'ho for 5 months and now think they are God. No I will not bow down to you. After you have 10,000 hours then you can act like a diva. Another thing that annoys me...
