Re: 10 year take home pay

Newcommercialpilot you don’t know your take home pay? It’s easy. Look at what they deposit in your account. And 370k on 740hrs? That’s a better rate than I thought wj paid.

Re: Chance of getting hired with a tattoo?

The number of someone's tattoos is inversely proportional to their intelligence.
That is why the airlines frown upon them.

Re: Why WJ Pilots lost all my respect

It took you almost 20 years KAG. We should be making double that.
Why do most pilots think it's OK because we see the world and enjoy it?

Re: How does WestJet keep this stuff out of the news??

FOX69 you must have been one of the pilots flying it. You start by blasting us for speculating then proceed to say you think they were confused about the markings. Either way I bet it took you more than one try to pass your radio operater licence because anyone who didn't understand what the marking...

Re: How does WestJet keep this stuff out of the news??

KAG over running the end of the runway seems to be a recurring problem with Westjet so I guess you guys aren't learning from your mistakes. I don't want my family to be on board when it becomes a lot more serious. I wouldn't be all smiles and raving how great Westjet is because they handed out free ...

You guys are starting to sound like Jodie Foster when she lost her kid on the plane.

Didn't there used to be a Tony Soprano on here or am I imagining it?

Re: Stick & Rudder skills lacking in bigger Jet pilots?

I think there should be a quick IQ test on here before you can register. Saying someone's skill is lacking due to the level of automation of their A/C is quite funny. So I guess an 800hr class 4 instructor on a cherokee 140 must be one of the best pilots in Canada. If someone has a GPS in their car ...

Re: Stick & Rudder skills lacking in bigger Jet pilots?

Actually no offense. I just wanted to jump in on the name calling. I'm accused of not being able to hand fly
an airplane just because I don't fly a little one anymore.
I bet an airbus pilot could fly a beaver from point A to point B before a beaver pilot could fly an airbus
from point A to Point B.

Re: Stick & Rudder skills lacking in bigger Jet pilots?

We've obviously all flown the little planes and it's not that difficult. Some of us were actually fairly good at it and were hired by the airlines. While some weren't so great and remain stuck on the small planes. Now they are so bitter and jealous they sit around and accuse us of not being able to ...
