Anyone has any good/bad info regarding currently job condition around lower mainland/fraser Vally? I know a couple of companies laid off a bunch of people around Abbotsford Airport. And surprisingly, the always hiring Cascade Aerospace isn't looking for any AME at this point. Anyways, thanks in adva...

C130 Paratroop Door Rigging
Hi everyone, Recently, I rigged a C130 paratroop door and ran into a small but annoying problem. The problem is the spring. One of steps is to put the spring into a cable link then compress it while another person tries to put a pin into the other end of the cable link. As you can imagine, it's a si...

Re: Asian imports replacing contractors at Cascade??
I heard that Cascade is the middle of bargaining between the union and the company right now.
Still unsure on how it will go down.
So not getting an offer from Cascade may not be so devastating after all.

Great North
Hi everyone, I am an apprentice with close to 6 months experience on fix wing. Currently, I am in a company where I feel like the things I do are insignificant or sometimes just not doing very much. I understand it might be normal for someone just started out. Anyways, from what I heard, north is th...

Dashx
dashx, I just finished the interview in Vancouver. It was a surprise. I got interviewed by 3 people. Things were going ok, I assume. It's just some questions regarding ATA I couldn't answer. The questions are like what's chapter 23 or 32 in ATA? As I was told, the schedule was flexible and the pay d...

Voyageur Airways
Not too long ago, I heard that Voyageur Airways are hiring Vancouver and Oversea apprentices. I am just wondering if anyone here are working for them in those areas now and what are the conditions like in those oversea areas. Also, I would really like to give it a try as an apprentice in those areas...

Great advice, thanks!
Just one more question,
What does an apprentice has to prepare for a FAA license once he has the AME license? And what are the exams we have to write?

Mechanics in States
I am recently looking for a job in the States.
Just wondering if it's possible for a canadian apprentice to come
back to canada and write the license exam after 2 1/2 years.
And what are the procedures to get a FAA license?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.

BELL 206 A/B, L Maintenance Manual
Hi there,
Does anyone know where I can get or buy BELL 206 A/B, L maintenance manual, Overhaul, and IPC? My company has them, but I would really have one at home. That way I can get prepared for the next day. (I think they are also on a CD as well.) Any help would be great, thanks.
