I'm with the rest of the guys on this, go... Once you have that plan in place everything else becomes easy. If you decide to go, PM me and I ...

here is my best advice. Go get a job as a plumber. Smartest guy I know got his ticket and it helped pay for his flying and durring the first 2+ years while his friends were struggling to feed themselves, he was working as much as he wanted on days off and never had to worry about money. He works for...

I am green with envy... I did the trip fron Vancouver to Alberta at about (and beyond) when I had about the same time. I hope you are taking a 172 or better, I did it in a clapped out pa28 and could not get over 5800' on the way back, and it was a wee bit uncomfortable. If you are renting, pay the e...

Please type slow as I am a techno idiot, and it may take me a while to figure it out. I won't be offende...

If you thought you could loose on charters, you aint seen nothin yet. Scheds are like throwin 100 dollar bills into a strong wind! Sounds like a perfect plan to me, here's why: The average consumer usualy knows where the airplane gas station is at every airport. I can't imagine customers walking thr...

here is what I would do...
Pick a number that you will accept, let's say 120k, give 5% on that and give him 25% on the rest, whatever he can get, hell make it 35%, it's gravy anyways.

I've had my diploma (non aviation) since 91, been employed the whole time in a few industries and have never been asked to provide my credentials. Come to think of it, never been asked for ID either. I have given a photocopy of my licence, but nobody has asked to prove it's mine. It can't hurt, but ...

Dutch Bank steps up

Saw on the ticker on CBC that a the Deutch bank increased it's investment from 450 mill to 850 mill. AC only needs another 200 mill to come out of it.

Where is my wallet? :P

I think that the whole 50 hour courses came out of float companies asking for more than the 7 hour minimum. They meant 300 hours swamping not paying for another 50 hours with an instructor. Good for them for cashing in on on the winfall. However. My experience is that the 185 requitements are much m...
