get the prc in a sem kit just like a caulking tube (and it at least has a mil spec),you can get an application gun for around 50$ used. its only as messy as you let it be!and i would use the stuff that viking says seeing as how they have the type cert rights!

aircraft MAINTENANCE engineer, not aircraft DESIGN engineer, different title different job discription different training (although im pretty sure we got some similer training on some things) so why the big outcry? who really cares what our title is?i think its a good thing b/c it makes me strive to...

ad81 has got it right most of us are willing to lend tools to apprentices 3 TIMES then buy your own, most guys realize you cant start with everything, and every place you work youll find you need different tools. and keep track of all your reciepts b/c as an appr. you can write them off at tax time

i had a sparkie run up a twotter for me when i was a green apprentice, must say it was one of the scariest things ive seen, checkin autofeather and he just about ran it into the hanger, guess we should have tied that mother down! lol.

scotch brite elbowgrease and a plastic scraper to remove . and either soak the gaskets in engine oil for a few hours first or use copper kote, some guys say the copper kote adds metal to your engine though, but the coppper kote ones come off alot easier just dont get to horny about applying to much,...

the axial and centrifical are all on the same shaft and are driven by the compressor turbine, which also drives the accesory gearbox so really ng is taken from both or the ct disk

im pretty sure if you walked into any one of the hangers in yellowknife with an ame license you would almost be hired on the the spot, but beware thereare some that will try to give it to you where the sun dont shine as far as pay goes but most of themm are willing to shell out a few bucks for a goo...
