Re: Best Aircraft Type for Bird Dogging?

Stay away from the AC-69/AC-95. Just ask the SK. boys. Nothing but maintenance hogs. Doesn't help they have 4 different types. Just heard the other day they still have one in the barn, hasn't flown yet this season.

Re: West Wind is in National is Out !!

How bush do you have to be to think that westwind pilots are all pretty boys and white shirt drivers? Where do you think the westwind pilots flew before ww? They all flew at TWA in Stony and quit so they could go south and wear White Shirts and have everything done for them, YOU DUMB F**KER. LOL !!!!

Re: A/C down in SK - Jan '07 - Draft Report Critical of TC

Jim Glass's comments in the paper and on the radio were pretty week. He said Tw was aware of the crew conflict, but no idea of the severity of it. Maybe if they had a Northern CP that actually lived in the north and work with the crews they would have known, instead he lives in Saskatoon and flies t...

Re: Plane Crash La Ronge

I don't know if the report is public yet, but TW got their copy and fired the crew. The tail was not cleaned and therefore stalled causing the crash. Something like that. They should stop showing the new guys on the T/O that Nasa icing video with the Twin Otter in it. They think it can handle anythi...

Re: A/C down in SK - Jan '07 - Draft Report Critical of TC

The report mentions inadequate training, but it fails to mention inadequate flight training standards and line-indoc. The training was just good enough to get them though their ppc/pcc rides. Both crew members ppc/pcc were marginal at best and the captain was pushed though line indoc, so the trainin...

Re: Plane Crash La Ronge

Two possible causes are floating around. Right hand engine may have went into feather, or right hand ski harness may have broke on the toe of the ski. As for people seeing snow flying off the wings, everytime a T/O takes off from deep snow it appears to the untrained eye that the snow is coming off ...

Third plane in three days down in Sk.

A private 185 or 206 flipped over this morning in Buffalo. Just the pilot onboard and he is believed to be okay.

Re: TWA Upper Management, what a JOKE

Nope not me. the guy your thinking of is down in the Maldives. The same Northern CP started and taxied the T/O from the hanagr to the terminal with the plug still in. He had to get a ladder out and crawl in the intake to get it out. Pretty funny site, just the little guys feet hanging out. LOL !!

TWA Upper Management, what a JOKE

The operations manager fired up the Sabb with prop ties and pugs in the other day. She didn't even have a clue that the prop wasn't turning when she hit the starter. Poor rampies were dodging flying parts all over the place. Then the Northern Chief Pilot, who lives in Toon town and flies the Saab ta...

If you read what I actually posted and not what you added in your twisted little head you would see that I was not talking about the crews at all. It was directed towards poor management.

Is Transwest opening new bases in the Province.

I was just wondering if they are opening some new bases. They have a 200 sitting in LaLoche, a T/O sitting in Key Lake, and now a Saab sitting in LaRonge . Oh, that's right those are all the planes that lost engines in the last 30 days.

I think it is a sign of what kind of a company they really are. Now that it is a pilots market, companys have to start treating there guys and girls with respect. The good companys realized this a while ago and are not looking for pilots in the middle of the busy season. I would be applying to these...

Borek Bangs up a couple of T/O'S

I heard there was a couple of station 60's at the pole recently. Does anyone know if it was the father, son team recently hired from northern Sask. ?

Where to start on this one !! If you are on the Ho, don't expect many hours. They are only doing about 25 a month in YVC no better in YSF. Besure to get it in writing if they offer a rotation. They are famous for promising it, but seldom deliver on it. Stay away from both CP, especially the Southern...
