Looking for details on pay/sched. I know they're running old 600's from WJ. Think it will be a long term gig? They fired everyone a few years back.
PM me if you prefer.

YYC Crash pad
Looking at opening up my home as a crash pad for commuters. Wondering what the current price point is and what the set up looks like... bunk beds, private rooms. Any info would be appreciated. I'm trying to determine if there's much demand. Feel free to PM me or reply on here.
Thanks,
Chris

Don't waste your time with the rest, go with the best. Bose. Most guys are using the intercom now, there's still a few guys who aren't. I have an older Bose X, it works like a dream and have had it for years.

It's a basic physical. They want to make sure you can do that job without hurting yourself. If you're in decent shape the test is easy. 10 push ups and 10 sit-ups, a hearing test, you do pee in a cup but they are checking for diabetes. You shouldn't have much trouble. Welcome to the WJ family, once ...

Hey there Most run them single pilot. It's a pretty basic aircraft to run two crew. I know there are a few that do though. Check out Pilotcareercentre.com they will have the info you're looking for. http://pilotcareercentre.com/Search-Air-Carrier-By-Aircraft-Type-And-By-Region/8/1/C208+Cessna+Carava...

Re: Applying online for pilot position
I've copy pasted into the appropriate boxes but there is also upload section. A resume and cover letter are obvious but I'm wondering what else would be beneficial to upload. PPC's, First Aid Cert, etc. or do they just ask you to bring those to the interview.
Thanks

Applying online for pilot position
Hey I've been applying to WJ for ages now as I work my way up the ranks. What additional documents do you upload onto the site other than your resume and cover letter? Would you scan your license and passport? I've only been updating the resume but am wondering what else I should throw up there. Any...

Re: Telling Your Employer Your Moving On
I did this same thing about eight months ago. I had already quit once before to go to the company I'm at now but things had fell through. Most small operators are expecting you to make a move in an upwards direction. Each company has an ideal time to talk to the boss. After 8pm was always the best t...

Hey Pete Give companies like Transwest a shot. They have a float division you can start with and then make the move to an F/O in the winter. Check out pilotcareercentre.com to find companies that have the type of operation that will give you the next step. Or network with your friends in the industr...

Canadian North
Hi there This question is for the Canadian North drivers. I've always wanted to fly for them and am wondering what their status is. I haven't seen any Dash-8 lately, have their leases been dropped? I know of the new contract into Albian so are things starting to turn around? With all the competition...

Re: Advice on options..
Hey I see where you're at. It's a tough spot. To be honest, any ramp job you take at larger companies is going to be a long wait. Most larger companies want guys with experience so they will tend to hire more so from the outside. Think about it, if you lose a Dash 8 Capt, its much more effective to ...

Everyone was ok, blew a tire on landing. Doesn't surprize me with the -40C weather we're having.
