Re: Air Canada Rouge IFE

The 767 will have power outlets, when the new seats are installed in January, but the A319's won't (so I've heard).

Re: Air Canada Interviews

My references were called last week, haven't heard anything more. I know a lot of newbies, 12 or so in the last 6 months. Many are great friends of mine and they all have nothing but good things to say about working for AC, this goes with the more senior guys and gals I know as well. I'd be happy an...

Re: Email invitation for interview

Has anyone been able to postpone an interview? I got an email this morning, but I'm currently working overseas and I won't be able to attend an interview on any of the dates that they've offered. Is there any chance I'll be able to postpone the invitation about a month? I'm ecstatic that I got the i...

Re: IPAD anyone have one?

We have one per side in our aircraft in the Middle East. We regularly use it for flights in the ME and EU. We do, however, notice it's harder to navigate airports with many pages of charts ie, multiple approaches, STARs, SIDs, etc. One example is Athens, where we first noticed it. The problem is you...

David Clark X-11 for sale - Calgary

Hey everyone! I'm selling 1.5 year old David Clark X-11 which I don't use anymore due to flying a different aircraft. It's been sitting in my closet doing nothing, so I figure I will sell it. Comes with all the accessory cords and the carrying case. The original box is not included. I'm asking 650 O...

Re: TC to FAA quiz study material

Use Gleim. I studied for a few weeks and I wrote the exam in ten minutes... probably studied too much for what the exam was. I think the Dauntless one is probably less over kill, and more geared towards what you need. It's a fairly straight forward exam. I had a few questions on airport markings (si...

BE20 EFIS

The company I work for just picked up a King Air with the Collins EFIS-85 Three-Tube System. Does anyone know what the training requirements are? None of our 200's have EFIS, I'm assuming you require a checkout or training of some sort. If anyone have any information on this please PM me. Thanks, ca...

I've got an X-11 and I hate it. I had a lightspeed before and the sound quality was a hell of a lot better, especially if your a fan of the MP3 feature. Also, the ear cups don't seal very well at all, everytime I chew gum, talk, turn my head, or a combination of all the above the seal breaks and it'...

Anyone hear if they've got their 1900's yet? Also, if the 3rd ATR is coming? And, are they building a new hangar this summer? Just wondering is all!

Part-time job ideas?

Hey all,

Just wondering if any of you out there can throw some ideas around for part-time jobs doing whatever. Currently living in a med sized city flying charters three to four days a week with weekends off. Need some extra cash.
