Re: Fake pilot ads
I worked at one flight school on the list that cant find an instructor (application was for a class 2 or higher and its a safe bet the request is to place a TFW as the CFI so the company can do as they wish) When I worked there the school used the loop hole as a collage campus to hire and train fore...

RIP Mike and condolences to his family and friends!
He did my initial class 4 and then my class 2 .........To this day still remember movements and attitudes are 2 separate things to be taught that way.

Re: Is this what flight training has come too?
Sorry I didn't explain the money thing better. The students don't put their flight training monies in the school's account. The school tells the students that they are required to open a joint bank account (with the school having free access to withdraw money from the account anytime). They tell the...

Re: Is this what flight training has come too?
As you can see from the response of this school they very quickly threaten and take legal action against any students that leave the school because they are unhappy about the quality of their training and/or treatment by the school. They smear and besmirch the students and the schools they move on t...

Re: Maxi allowable hours and instructing

instructing does NOT count towards commercial duty times, as it falls under general aviation. i would suggest calling TC though so you can hear it from the horse's (or donkey's) mouth
Indeed it does; any hours you get, even in your own aircraft, count towards the...

Re: Full-Time Pilot Career
Try Huron Flight Centre in Sarnia, Ontario. Small school but they have top notch instructors, 5-6 different types of planes, you can fly 2-3 times a day and the training is the best around, they teach you a lot more than just to pass the tests. Ask for Jason the CFI and tell him RED DOG 1 sent you, ...

poke-her player If you flew out of London you would realize how stupid your remarks about the tower are. Next to Pearson these guys and gal are the HARDEST WORKING crew in Canada and as a professional pilot I am offended with your remarks. I thank God that this crew does such a great job with everyt...

Re: Approach speed for CPL flight test
Just remember that you are required to fly the normal landing approach at that speed. I have seen examiners fail students for not maintaining that speed.
Hope that helps you out, if you need to, take your instructor out and practice it.( a good instructor should have covered it all ready. )
