I agree with popnchipper with one thing to add; Too many of these 26.7 calls from aircraft taxiing end up stepping on 26.7 reception of airborne aircraft. When VFR I don't see the point of the extra broadcast.

Re: ATPL Farce

I'm not putting down instructors It sure sounded like you were. Why should Co-pilot time count as half towards the total time requirment when you're in a two-crew environment? Every second leg is mine!???!!. Not to point out the obvious but you just said you only fly half the legs. The math seems s...

Very insightful and thoughtful post. Its not the grand standing and fear mongering approach that you would choose rockie. I've grown tired of your "twice daily 401 shootouts", "arming an entire society", "dirty harry types" and your just plain ridiculous "twirling it around their finger and practic...

slush fund tarnishes Liberal image

Turns out you can paint them all with the same brush... `Slush fund' charge tarnishes {Ontario} Liberal image Apr 27, 2007 04:30 AM Ian Urquhart After taking a pounding for a few days on their $32 million "slush fund," the governing Liberals have begun a ferocious counterattack. But the arguments in...

Try thinking in terms of everybody out there being armed. I can guarantee you your opportunity to use that gun will increase exponentially. I'm going to give up. I cannot debate with people who equate handguns with a lawnmower. I will not debate statistics because they can say anything anyone wants them to say, and they do not address the nature of a society. I do not want my country to turn into a gun-centric society like the United S...

How many people in Canada do you know feel the need to keep a gun in their house to feel safe? Do you?? No, not in my house. I live in the woods. Apologies for wading into this debate so late but I couldn't let this one by. here's a question for the gun supporters: If a total stranger came up to you on the street and said "give me a loaded gun right here, right now", would you do it? For f*ck sakes. Right now, the biggest item on the Conservative's agenda is getting into position to win a majority government. I should have written gun, instead of weapon. What is smallest size gun we are allowed to own. That question has several answers depending on what licence you hold. The most popular answer assuming you have a restricted licence is 105 mm, refering only to barrel length. Since we are not trusted to ...

Personally I like the budget. There should be enough tax savings in it for me to offset the annual cost of McGuinty's Ontario Health Tax from a couple years ago. Yeah but do those laws violate your Charter Rights??? I can't help but notice everyone in favour of registration is sidestepping the Charter arg...
