Re: What age is too old to go to AC and collect a full pensi

Some helpful numbers here, Max RRSP contribution is $24,930 a year (which at AC you will reach when making above 140k). So, in 25 years at 6% interest you will have 1.5 million. If you deiced to budget to the age of 90 (and keep a 3.5% rate of return or better) that's $75,000 a year in retirement. T...

Re: Apprentice Pilot

When Wasaya decided to join ALPA they needed to include the ramp working pilots in their initial contract (at that time they would work around 60hrs a week, of which maybe 10-25 was flying). When the ALPA reps discovered that this group was referred to as "Wannabees" they were appalled. Wasaya then ...

Re: VFR in IMC - Kasper Aviation

Absolutely a justified CADOR. Either Kasper flew into Dryden in crap weather, or the AWOS was reporting erroneously. Either case justifies a CADOR. Not really. Our company is approved to fly at 300 ft AGL, so Kasper might be as well. Unless they came from a higher altitude on an illegal ifr approac...

Re: WASAYA

Wasaya doesn't require a bond for PC-12 f/o's. They do for every other position but if you start as a PC-12 first officer at least you have time to judge for yourself whether you want to pay them a bond or not for an upgrade.
