From doomsday news article:
How dare they allow her to fly solo at only 17.She was surprised to learn the pilot is only 17 years old and that she was flying by herself.

Re: Plane missing in Antarctica
I didn't know Bob, but from following this thread it's obvious that he was all class and a true gentleman. From the sounds of things, I think the same can be said of Mike and Perry too. I can't imagine the devastation for the families and for everyone who knew the crew. My prayers are for their comf...

I'm praying for the weather to lift and for SAR to get in there soon and find everyone in good shape. Like everyone else I've been glued to this thread and the news.

Re: Plane Crash Into Lake Near Montreal
Update to the article says the search for a possibly downed plane has been called off. If this is in fact a false alarm, I'm glad it is just that. Police checked with the closest military base, CFB Trenton in Ontario. Trenton's radar readings showed a plane did fly close to the surface of the lake, ...

Re: Minimum Crew Rest Requirements
My company gives 12 hours between assignments "block to block", meaning 15 minutes after the chocks are in until the departure time on the next assignment. When away from base, this is shortened to 11 hours. For a certain base we can go as low as 10 hours. These rest times are all part of our collec...

This guy wasn't fired?! Or does the "10-month suspended sentence" mean that he was fired and put in jail for 10 months? After crew members alerted the tower, cops prevented the takeoff. Washington failed a breath test and was subsequently fined and given a 10-month suspended sentence.

If that piece that I see in the middle right of the photo is the tail, it looks like it could be C-GNWN.

Re: Bose A20
Hey A-Team, I just got mine and love it.
I noticed that the inner screen on each side is a bit off-looking. Like its not flush all the way across the ear cup. If I push on it it can move a bit too. I phoned Bose and they said this was normal. Is yours the same deal?

St. Andrews - Ottawa Advice
I'll be starting my CPL at CYAV Harv's at the end of this month. I was thinking of doing a trip to Ottawa for time building once I get into it. Any advice from those who have done something similar? Good places to clear customs on both sides, which airports to avoid and which are good, things to see...
