I was thinking that maybe they were selling off the older Aircraft to position to buy something newer and more versatile than 102's.
I hope that they'e not rolling it up as I like the new paint jobs and would like to see them continue to operate.

Hawkair Dash 8's
Anyone see that the Hawkair Dash 8's are up for sale? Any news on that front? Is Bar XH offloading it entirely or are they just selling the older Dash's that Hawkair has?

Are you sure these are not simply Soote? Time spent around turbines and you'll often see little runs and black marks around the nacelles that are truant soote from the exhaust. Jetstreams always seem to have black crap all over them. Hope that it was not indeed an engine fire cause that would suck. CC

I will contact some folks up that way and see if this is true.

Cool thanks Klimman,
I always love stumbling across wrecks like that. always stimulates a funny curiosity especially when they are out in sparsely populated areas.
Anyone else have any shots of old heaps they want to post? I saw the photos of the aero commander in the dump up in hall beach.

Of Course I do not believe that the CEO should be able to retain a large salary while all others are forced to make unreasonable concessions. It's my belief that this kind of greed is a very large problem in our society. However I would like for this to be heard. Unions are driven by this same facto...

Not sure if you car is still in City #1 but I have used SEARAIL a couple times now and it worked out well. You ship you car with a bunch of stuff in it. They ship based on volume of your car taked up in the enclosed rail car so they don't care about weight. all you ahve to do is make sure that the d...

Where are you guys getting the info that it was Orca Air. I have been looking around on the internet and watching the news. But there has been no mention of Orca specifically.
Anyways hope that it's not true that there were people injured.
If so my thoughts ggo out to those affected.

I'm sad to hear that a good person was lost in this. I admire his attempts to bring safety to a company that has always been notorious among the aviation community for being a "Cancer" as it were. This is a testiment to his strength of character, as a man, and as a pilot who took his role in the coc...

May I suggest http://www.airwebster.com or you can try googling Air Webster. Adam Webster is an aircraft charter broker working in the states now. Well, Seems that we all have something to contribute to this one. We all know how much the industry can suck at times, but the job is why we stay. Many the employers are cheap, sleazy, moody, and often just plain assholes, but we all stay for the job. My opinion, it's the best job in the world suppo...
