Got my first paying job at 40 didn't realize what a waste of time it is being a pilot in Canada.... scrub tired beat aircraft working in the worst weather multi-engine and single pilot to build time... starvation wages. Sorry people but being a pilot in Canada is a joke for most candidates. Spend close to 60,00 end up on a loading dock for min wage then maybe get a chance to fly something that should have been parked in the desert 15 years ago. Operate in the worst conditions you can imagine in substandard equipmen...

3 to 6 day pairings either out of Yellowknife or Iqaluit up to 18 days per month.
No single day trips so not at home during pairings. Decent hotel accomodations while away
OK per diems.

Pilots are based in Saskatoon or Regina. Most work is weekdays home every night. 3 aircraft added in 2007 inc. 1900 and ATR42. More equipment coming for 2008. Great schedule, good equipment and maintenance. Good people to work with. Probably the best charter flying operation in a civilized community...
