Re: How's morale with uncertainty of the one list?

Oh dear gawd Shallow, i mean swallow. 1) Are you dyslectic? Serious question, you have so many handles on this site it ridiculous to try and keep up on. 2) Who the hell actually has a paper copy of the ALPA manual governing seniority? Especially when you have nothing good to say about ALPA. 3) If yo...

The 77k is for Dash-8 captain.

As for the discrepancy, they made an error. Shouldn’t surprise anyone, after all it is Wasaya.

I've bolded the points below as I am to lazy to continually break it apart. 1) have a cpl with a cat 1 IFR and around 300 hours , Yes, you and every other graduate out there, so what separates you from them?????, 2) which I am refused given all these shortages I keep hearing of , Fair, and good for ...

I did corporate for five years. The only thing you don't talk about is your client or their business. If someone tells you that you are breaking the cardinal rule for asking about a trip they did to Miami, tell them to take a pill. As long as you don't ask about the folks in the back their is no unw...

No, its not what they asked for, but its the better than WS. Doesnt hurt to let people know WS morale is garbage and there is a big union kerfuffle going on right now. Go to Big Red. They have the biggest dick on the block.

Re: WestJet flight reduction

In addition to the above comments, I believe a major factor in Q2 losses was the potential pilot strike & the effect it had on filling seats while not changing operations. Seems odd that this isn’t noted when it clearly had an impact. mmmm, it had a small impact, but if you believe that potential l...

Oh no, it is most certainly the MU2, even when I flew it the high pitch squeal reminded me of my ex-girlfriend :?

I live about 10 km from they Tbay airport out in the country. Even during the day I can hear the mighty MU2 strutting her stuff as she taxis out for departure.

CUPE and now CALDA

Since the day ALPA certified all we heard and continue to hear from John is how ALPA is imploding WestJet. Funny how I have not heard, nor read a single thing from John since CUPE has come in, and now with the dispatchers certifying with CALDA and the soon to be engineers certification I wonder is i...

Re: Westjet mainline commuting

If you are hired for swoop, that is where you will be for at least 2 years. As of right now, I believe there is no commuting policy for Swoop, it is only at Mainline and Encore. As for positions, that have come up. There is approximately 50 Encore positions for flow this year (Between Mainline and S...

Re: How's morale with uncertainty of the one list?

Although every morale compass I have whole hearty disagrees with weedpro, I will agree in this instance. When a arbitrator sits with a company, they mediate/arbitrate with that company and will make a discussion point for that said company. In this Case, Mr Kaplan is dealing with WestJet and will on...

How many sectors do Encore pilots fly on a typical pairing?
Well, it all depends on the day/pairing. If you end up on a heavy 4 day, you may end up flying 4 - 5 legs a day, or you can have the opposite where you'll Deadhead one leg and or operate one leg a day.

I landed in south central US one day and asked for a permit to proceed. Re: Captain Upgrade Times

As mentioned, YYZ is fully staffed now whereas YYC is short. The last bid had 20 YYC upgrades and none in YYZ.

Upgrade will be a minimum of 6 months, potentially longer as many FO's are ahead of you and meet the requirements now. As for a training position, that is anyones guess.
