Should have looked at the CAP. The 1250 footer might be interesting without a brisk wind, hard surface or not... :lol:

I thought it denoted a "hard surface". It's been a few years since I've seen a CFS though so don't quote me.

I did a Bermuda turn about a month ago and I'm pretty sure we were on HF for at least some portion of the flight (New York ARINC?) until you get close enough to Bermuda to pick up New York on VHF again.

I'm pretty sure the July 2nd course had a bunch of Airbus slots and the rest Emb. The July 16th course is all Emb.

If I read it correctly, the last equipment bid shows room for 225 more to be hired in the next 18 months. I have heard they will hire 160 from now to the end of the year. 3 courses in July and maybe 3 in August. 8)
