if you have1900 time, get a job with a south african contractor, good money and 2 months on 1 month off, you will need to get validation done first, takes about three weeks max and is cheap. For the UN you need 500 PIC for the type of aircraft being flown for Capt and 100-200hrs for F/O position, d...

Hey thanks for the reply..Ive been an expat for awhile, flown in many different places around the world but getting tired of living out of my suitcase..I'm looking for a place where I can be around for the long run, avoid the winters and get to do some great flying so this wouldn't be a transitional...

I spent far too long, flying Air Ambulance flights. If the average Taxpayer knew the colossal waste of money, a large number of these are, there would be a huge outcry. Half of the ones I used to do were nothing more than a Kentucky Fried Chicken and Beer run. Free ride to the Big City, short stop ...

Not sure if you're looking at Northern or Southern ON but lots of opportunities in the north if you're looking, ie Thunder, Wasaya, Voyageur, Commercial, NAC....time building jobs, may not be the best but they'll get you somewhere. Northen ON isn't for everyone, but having been born and raised there...
