Re: Which license number do i use

Well in that case, I'll let you know that the .ppt is on my computer still, still gets regular airtime and i'll offer a general "NYAH" in your direction for LOL'ing me, but will say a big Hi! It's been a while for sure. You've got a good memory if you're remembering my handle, and thank you for not ...

Which license number do i use

I'm embarassed I don't the answer to this. But you don't know me, so I'll just ask. A few years ago, while I was still working as a pilot, I had my ATPL. So of course when filing flight plans, I'd file AA ######. I let my instrument rating expire, as I'm not flying for a living anymore and gosh darn...

Re: When to pull the plug on the Aviation career?

I left 5 years ago. I do miss it, but I'm SO much happier now. My decisions were for many of the reasons that others had mentioned - I never got to see my husband, friends or family - I could hardly make $$ ends meet, and I was tired of the instability of wildly fluctuating paycheques - There's no w...

Re: Waterloo/Wellington Flight Centre

I did all my training PPL-Instructor there and taught for 5.5 years from 2001-2006. I was always mostly happy with my time and did my best to stay out of the politics associated with the senior staff changes over those years. Most impressed with the latest batch of mgt/support folks. I'm happily con...

Many thanks for the info and the great link. I always wondered if that info was public.
Cheers!

Does anybody know of anyone actively flying with it?

Cat 1 Medical and Atrial Fibrillation

Does anyone have experience with being diagnosed with the benign form of atrial fibrillation (I think they call it "Lone Onset") and renewing a Cat 1?
Thanks.

Re: Anybody do University + Flight Training at the same time?

To answer the original question, i did flight training during my last year and a half of a full-time Co-op Uni program... that's just when flying came into my life. Like a previous poster had noted, with good time-management skills, an acceptance that you're not going to get to go out as much as you...

I will freely admit that I have not read any of your posts. I don't make time, my life is quite busy, however many of my friends do read...

I got a letter today dated March 14. I paid in full my old invoices back on Feb 16. I called the agency and she advised just fax an invoice showing the payment and your account balance and all will be fine. No troubles getting a live person and she was pleasent on the phone. I emailed TC asking for ...

Self study time signed off by your instructor can also count. Studying for the written? Log it and brief what you did with your instructor. that all counts too... that's how the self-study-ers do it.

Thanks for the fb, all three of you.
Please offer a bit more input, anyone. Even educated guesses are welcome.

Licenced, 703-4-5 ops are the keywords as oldncold mentionned.

thanks again.

One thing..."if its brown, put those keys down"..lol.
You guys are too much... you'd rather fly planes that won't fly straight and will hardly climb than take an "ugly" one! Someday image-obsessed youth will learn! Happy to hear students are pleased with the program.
