I heard about this at work this morning, stopped an looked at it on my way home. a caravan amphibian hit a pelican. he took off from cyav, not sure how hig, fast and far out he was when it happened. this was a lucky case, bird could have gone through the windsheild and knocked out or killed the pilo...

OH BUDDY do i agree with that. i work with two caravans, on amphibian, on grand caravan. the airstair is fine with the grand caravan. but on the amphib, the airstair door is a real pain in the arse.

I am a dock hand and i find the dehavilland otter the hardest , and cessna caravan amphib easiest. those otters are so damn high , but the caravan is just nice. its especialy hard on the otter unloading those giant 240lb c3h8 cylinders
