Labratory oil testing
My questions apply to piston engines however turbine feedback is welcome. I am considering having engine oil sent to the lab for analysis. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does it work as claimed? My understanding is: they can trace metals, to any wetted engine part in advance of evident p...

re: turbo aztec exhaust
Hi All,
Can someone with Aztec experience help?
My understanding is the turbo is temperamental due to poor design. Is this case?
Does the turbo evolve much over the Aztecs run?
Are some models more reliable?
Cheers,
HH

Recession?

I chose the Telex 50D. I have about 400 hours experience with it now in a very loud Aztek. (Note: without noise cancellation I had trouble hearing controllers on takeoff with standard DC and gel cuffs) Good Stuff: 25db analog plush ear cuffs mp3 jack (cable included) phone jack (cable included) ciga...

There were a couple of infraction that day. One in particular was pretty funny. The guy in question t/o within the closed air space and checked in with Montreal ATC. When asked by them to turn north he attempted to negotiate his heading due to low fuel. They asked him to turn further East 030 and re...

The quality sucks but this was on the first revenue flight of our new toy I knew that was the PC strip. Who's got the caravan out of Simpson? ...or is that someone out of Ft. Nelson? Looks like WA colours. Confirm? Checked the site but not listed among the fleet. If it is WA I'm surpirsed to see th...

Anyone with experience at Sander Geophysics?
Sanders has posted another add. I checked their website an it seems they are looking for pilots, admin, techs and everything else. Is this expansion or high turnover?
Does anyone have any experience working there?
What are working conditons like?
cheers
