Approach procedure naming

I have a question that is driving me nuts. Is there a difference between NDB A, NDB B etc approaches? I can't find a reference in any of my IFR ground school books, the AIM or even google as to what the letter means in the approach names. Any tips as to where to look would be great. Thanks.

Re: Glass Cockpit for beginners - G-1000 basics

I have done a fair bit of my training in a G1000 equiped 172 and have found that it is great to have, however I always try to fly as if i did not have it, take times and calculate speeds, ETE and such the conventional way then verify against the G1000. Also I always have my sectional and am can tell...

Re: St Albert airport, runway will close June 15th

I'm betting its just pure economics. The airport is not profitable, and some developer want to turn the land into housing or a business park or something. I am just guessing on that, but i would put money on that being the situation.

Best one I have been to was in Tucson Arizona, The Pima Air and Space Museums. They had EVERYTHING there http://www.pimaair.org/aircraft.php SR-71, B-52, F-everything, SuperGuppy, B-17, oh man everything. And with the AFB and National Guard bases in Tucson, there were always military jets screaming ...

I don't know, sounds like the kid needed some attitude adjustment, and to realize that there are real consequences for his actions, because we all know our courts aren't capable of teaching that lesson. (not saying its the cops responsibility though)

What's amazing to me is how all the other websites and newspapers and "journalism" sources have completly chickened out on this. No way they would ever let anyone but the radical muslims intimidate them so. Whoosie boys, all of em. perhaps because of the very real threat of a bomb showing up at you...

Red Flag is good, but some of the CGI is a little cheezy. I never saw it on IMAX screen though, so maybe its way cooler there. If you like that, then you should definetely check out Speed and Angels. Very behind the scenes and personal look at pilots trying to become Naval Airmen. saw it at christma...
