Re: Who Wants to Fly WJ
Got a chance to fly the plane with the 28in pitch recently. Prior to boarding I went to try out the seat.
Let's just say if I ever have to sit in those rows, the passenger in front of me will be getting a free lower back massage from my knees.
I'm 6'4". Yikes.

Re: For folks around my age (Late 30s)
As I obscurely alluded to in my first response to OP At the end of the day, your family comes first before the company. The corporations will drop you the moment you cease becoming useful to them. Going from somewhere where you are a name, to somewhere where you are a number, is only a good idea if ...

AC and WJ cause AIDS. The smaller the 705, the better your quality of life will be.
If the music for the musical chair stops in the coming 5 years, you'll be better off at PD than AC or WJ. If it doesn't, will you?

Re: 150 Pilots forced move out of YYZ
Wait til WJ actually looks at the volume of flying SWG was doing in the East, and then deplores the lack of pilots in the East to counter weather-related IROPS. The idiots who agreed to a full reduction bid without seeing 1 winter's worth of flying fully integrated first are gonna look real smart to...

Re: Planned hiring 2025
I haven’t heard any 400 new hire talk Apparently that's what was told to current transition class. Correct, I am in that class and heard it. AVH and DP also came for a visit on day 3 and AVH joked that it looked like we'd be receiving a new jet every 2 weeks in fall 2026, making DP a little nervous.

The Laffer curve: Low taxes = high productivity
Canada has a low (and declining) productivity problem... Maybe it's because of our high taxes.
US has a spending problem. Corruption, Nation building, unfettered immigration, etc

The one thing differentiating you from the next guy with sub 300TT is that you are willing to actually do the road trip necessary to meet people face to face, shake their hand, and start luggging bags on day 1, whereas all your competition stays in mom's basement in the GTA, right? Sorry to sound fa...
