Re: Home Insurance for Pilots
TG, good timing on post, it looks like we are plugging Bruce and PPIP. I guess we are but in that respect I'd like to challenge anyone to find a better rate and if Bruce can't match it then I'll move. I suspect PPIP will be taking my minimal monthly payment for a long while as it is very VERY compet...

Re: Home Insurance for Pilots
I opted outta the house insurance cuz its bullshit. You pay the same rate even as your mortgage decreases. Instead, I have lots of personal death insurance for wife and I through PPIP.ca. Go and get life insurance from some insurer other than the bank and make sure it pays your mortgage should one o...

Re: Borek DC-3T accident in Antarctica
WOW KAG, u really tell it how it is. I think thats the first time you've posted some bad words. I hope it feels good. I know how borek works and do know they treat there employees like sheet, except for now due to the current situation. I think this latest incident is very unfortunate and hate to he...
HAWAII
Question for the guys and gals doing the hawaiian flights.
Are the a/c ever load restricted and have to remove pax to get to the mainland from the islands or is gas and load no problem.
Thanks in advance as was thinking of going with them for holidays.

I've met Dave a few times but never trained with him. I know many that have and they have nothing but wonderful experiences. From what I have seen and heard from him at CAS4??? (memory failing) and YZF he was a first class individual. He had been there done that and in his talks and briefs he was pa...

MFA, I agreee with you all the way. Co-joe, seriously thats all you ever amounted to be and borek is lucky to be rid of you. Seriously I KNOW I worked there briefly and had a blast. I worked in other places similar to borek and it was slightly better treatment but less pay, so take the pay with the ...

No Conflict I hear ya man. Woulda slapped her too. Was watching the Ottawa ceremony on TV and couldn't help getting a little verklempt. Amazing what those boys and girls did to give us what we mostly take for granted today. Just a side note. I hope everyone remembers the soldiers and heroes that are...

I have to say this thread has to die for cojoes sake. I think he musta signed off so that is good. I sure wish I coulda been in there as his sim partner or hanging around his CARS lessons so I could pick up on all the knowledge. Maybe him and I will go for a beer again one day and catch up on things...

too drunk to read it all, but JUST CURIOUS makes a good post. My opinion, get your hours ASAP. AC wants hours first then the degree and if you never get on with them Jazz is same way. Even WJ they want a minimum time so that is crucial. I'm not saying a degree is not good, au contraire, it is very v...

Alright fine. I think you meant to say psyche test, not physiological one. But whatever, the psyche is stupid, who cares, can't they determine if your a freak in the interview, come on. I know of some PFO'd people and to be quite honest, WTF, they were all quality dudes/gals. Not sure why but thats ...

93%, thats funny I heard there weren't more than 10 in your class. Or do you count the uni's and the diplomas and give everyone a chance for two and then do the math? Anyhow, I heard (not that this means anything), that they really like some kind of post secondary education. So 93 some odd percent p...
