Re: Lift Question
Lift is not perpendicular to lateral axis. Only to local relative airflow ( i.e sectional airflow for that cross section of the airfoil...due to circulation. With increasing circulation will come increasing upwash and downwash and hence the angle of the lift vector will tilt backwards or or forwards...

Joey,
just relax, be ready(know the ppl standards) and remember what you have trained for and you will do fine. Keep the fine words of your flight instructor in mind too. Keep up the great work.

Although i must admit i am putting in more time with the flying related academics then the non-flying side of the program. I really like the ofc and the amb...

Re: Algonquin College
good luck, confed is great but there is a huge drop out rate so study study study. At Algonquin there is a drop out rate but not if you faill an exam like other places. And to answer the other statement, da40 c150 who cares..at this stage in the game you have to fly the basics and nobody really care...

Re: Algonquin College
I would have to agree..this is a new program and like everything its gonna grow into something big. I dont regret at all my choice of choosing Algonquin, but you really do have to stay focused and 100% trying to achieve the goals set out by the curriculum, keep that in mind and work hard

Canadians Flying in Brazil
Hello everyone
I am just curious to know if anyone has flown(working) recently in brazil and if so, could they elaborate on operations down there or if any conversions are required. There has to be a great deal of bush flying if i am not mistaken?
sorry if is the wrong place to post. :S
