phone interview, then a groundschool for the caravan again all vfr, then another interview and then MAYBE they will have work for you and if so pack your bags you need to leave in 30min comeback 2 months later and again there may or may not be a contract. Lift is not perpendicular to lateral axis. Only to local relative airflow ( i.e sectional airflow for that cross section of the airfoil...due to circulation. With increasing circulation will come increasing upwash and downwash and hence the angle of the lift vector will tilt backwards or or forwards...

Provide more work, make sure student is at perceived level of proficiency and do not overlook any aspect of flying. Criticize deviations.

Hey all
Just out of curiosity, I did a low an over in mirabel today and noticed on the overshoot a a340-300 parked opposite the cargo terminal. any reasons? seens weird that they would stop there. alternate maybe??

I am was the same situation as you. Done uni and all i needed were the licenses and the time. I chose algonquin and the OFC and so far so good. Although i must admit i am putting in more time with the flying related academics then the non-flying side of the program. I really like the ofc and the amb...

u too old? ur joking right? 25 is the best age to start,,,ur not a kid and ur mature..(in my case this doesnt apply but i still strive for the el dorado that is maturity) Anyway, go for it, u will not regret it unless your scared of heights.

last place i ever would want to end up is AC..no offence. So when u have a electrical failure and ur gps bites the biscuit as well as your other fancy equipment, the kids will really wish they had paid attention to the Nav classes but i guess the instructor said..dont worry cuz gps will do it for yo...

About education, is a university degree still as worthless as it is in the city as it is up north? hehe

I was just wondering if there are bush pilot jobs in the arctic and around nunavut. I am a low time pilot and i would like to fly there for a few years. anyone can tell me how things work up there?

good luck, confed is great but there is a huge drop out rate so study study study. At Algonquin there is a drop out rate but not if you faill an exam like other places. And to answer the other statement, da40 c150 who cares..at this stage in the game you have to fly the basics and nobody really care...

I would have to agree..this is a new program and like everything its gonna grow into something big. I dont regret at all my choice of choosing Algonquin, but you really do have to stay focused and 100% trying to achieve the goals set out by the curriculum, keep that in mind and work hard

I am just curious to know if anyone has flown(working) recently in brazil and if so, could they elaborate on operations down there or if any conversions are required. There has to be a great deal of bush flying if i am not mistaken?
