AC is starting to pool AME's. Anyone know what is actually going on? Rumors are flying but the there doesn't seem to be any hard facts.

Aviation had been pretty good for me. Yes the pay could be better, yes there are sometimes I wished I did something else. Being a AME has in the end provided a good career and a relatively comfortable life for me and my family so far.

About half of the AMEs at WJ are at the top of the band, and roughly 50% of them are topped out ACA. Not that you can count on it by any stretch but profit share paid out 35,000,000 million ish this time around which grossed most guys around 5000.00 ish.

The WJ scale is a couple years old at least.
