Was the snag an airworthyness item? not everything printed in the logbook grounds an airplane.

As for doing a test flight without talking to mtc....?

in our COM, anything such as test flights or ferry flights need to be authorized by both the CP, Ops manager, PRM etc.

That is quite puzzling for me as I just can't quite see the problem because the right seat is generally placed behind the flight controls same as the left seat.
i thought you just sit on the captains lap till its your turn?

in addition, the endorsed SPP has a limited lifespan, 3 months i think.

not having a license would sure put a halt on any commercial training you were thinking of doing

yeah thats way too long, if you are able to get to an office they can print it out for you while you wait. i have done that on 2 occasions in the past and as Grey wolf says, a call would never hurt. you shouldn't really be waiting more than a month if all your work is in order. although if you didn'...

If you have nothing constructive to say, dont say it at all! Period. Agreed, You mentioned JAA, what i was getting at (poorly as it may have been done) was that to get an ATPL in Canada and make it worthwhile, you need the hours to go along with it, and we all know the first few don't come so easy....

getting an ATPL has nothing to do with what school you go to...!? and you just dont "progress" to it. this isn't Europe you gotta work your bag off

Get your cpl meifr and get a job! a year later talk about the ATPL, besides. you cant write till you've got 750tt anyway

Sme Boeing School?

I heard a rumor about some boeing school that is around and you pay to do a type rating and other related training then they set you up with a job.

Not that i have the money or the desire to go to a program like this,
i was wondering if anyone sould confirm or deny this.
