Re: Demand for float drivers 2019?

I am told that you need at least 110 hours on floats and 600 hours in your log book. Not sure about good crack - but plumber crack will be evident as you work towards your goal of 700 hours. From what I understand they are only looking for transgender pilots ..guys or gals should not apply. The oppo...

Re: IFR Validity Change - No more checkrides

In an earlier post it was said that if your IR was lapsed you would no longer need to re-write the IR exam. Does this new change confirm that? Or do you still need to write the exam? Thanks.

Re: Advanced Float Flying in and out of a small lake

The video looks like a wanna be float pilot video. It is easy to do what you are doing when you have a lake the size of the lake in the video. My first hint would be to use all of the lake..i.e. get to the shoreline, learn how to sail backwards to use every available inch..doing some hokey pokey ste...

There are several Air Tanker companies in the US working on developing the -146 as a platform for
aerial fire suppression. Rumor has it that one Canadian Air Tanker company is also looking at the -146 for the same purpose.

^ Absolutely, Flybabe. And, I tend to agree with you, as I posted in #4 above. However, that is not what the regs say - so, until I hear different from the TC Doc, then I don"t need an ECG until spring 2010. Yo NS.. Just wondering if they ever caught up to you on the ECG issue? Re: Sales of used vehicles, boats and aircraft in BC

Who collects HST? Is it collected at point of sale? In the past if I, an Albertan, bought a vehicle in BC, I would only pay the dealership GST. Once I registered my vehicle in Alberta there was no PST paid. When a BC resident buys a vehicle in BC when do you pay the PST. Is it at the time of sale or...
