Re: Good time to go to Jazz?
So while I spend 50 bucks round trip to be on a 777 in business, than staying at the hiltons in paris for fack all I'll think, yup my job sucks, I should have stayed flying up north freezing my ass off, putting on wing covers, de-icing/fueling my own airplane just for that extra 10K a year. Hope yo...

This isn't KeystoneI hope we learn from it.
We don't know what it is that we need to learn so why don't we wait for the results of the investigation?

Re: WHY DO I WANT TO GO TO JAZZ ???
It's all the same. you mean 4th and 5th year F.O.s at mainline can't afford to put RRSP's away either. does every 3rd year F.O. at west jet have a paper route to help cover rent :?: Jazz is the best place to be stuck if you don't get in with a major airline so you to can pretend to be a Airline pilot

Re: Current jazz pilots
so I wanted to see if someone who has actually made it to Jazz would be willing to speak with me?

if you live in TO and have been asked if you would like fries with that. theres about a 20% chance that you were speaking to an actual JAZZ pilot.

Re: The End of SEIFR?
I do recall an unscheduled stop in gimly mb by AC, and another in the azors by AT where one engine stopped than the other one stopped. If you lose an engine in a BE200, you are 100% still running on 1 engine.
me thinks the BE20 might be vulnerable to this type of failure.

Re: Aircraft Rentals
Look real hard for the entry that says "I was completely unable to handle the crosswind and balled it up at the end of the runway" You should be able to tell if someone is capable of flying a 172 in 1 circuit. my mistake, I'm thinking this is about line pilot's looking for a little fun. Now if the ...

Re: WHY DO I WANT TO GO TO JAZZ ???
Does Jazz allow their Pilots to do any contract flying for other companies on their days off? Charters, Instructing, Flight Test....etc. Mcdisgusting, KFC, Staples, A&W, silver city. And the good news is most gov'ts have raised the minimum wage since the JAZZ employees last worked there while in hi...
