Re: Looking for recent intel on Petropavlovsk - Kamtchatsy

Re: New CEO
I don't know how "low cost" Flair employees are now but the gist of what the new CEO is putting out there is that they might end up being even lower cost in his vision of a ULCC.
ULCC... "Ultra Low Cost Crews" and customer experience".

Re: Dislocated shoulder
I had shoulder surgery to re-attach a tendon to the humorous and it was a 3+ month recovery till I could reach the everything I needed to on the overhead panel. Once I could I got my medical back.
I believe that as soon as you are required to have surgery of this type you lose you medical.

Re: @#$! 2020
This pandemic is showing just how fragile our capitalist democracy is and how close to the brink businesses and corporations are running in order to give the shareholders and the executives as much of the company profit as possible on the backs of the workers. It's showing how greed is more importan...

The more concerning thing is that China is profiting off of their viral pandemic and look to keep supplying the globe with PPE.
It's absolute horseshit.

Interesting because for the enforcement of the approach ban a RNAV LPV is still considered non-precision... unless that has changed.

Re: Approach ban
I think an RNAV LPV is still considered a "non precision" approach so the ILS CAT1 approach ban doesn't apply to it.

Re: Fokker 100 Crash in Almaty, Kazakhstan Dec 26,2019
After a cold clear night and flaps, spoilers, and ailerons out to the winglets covered in thick opaque hoar frost, of course the stab would be as well, and no mention of de-icing from the Captain's PA I let the FA know to notify the pilots during push back about the state of the wings. After another...

So how does this affect the Swoopers?
Re: One List
So what does this mean for Swoop OTS hires of the past year, particularly Captains?
Re: Swoop
We had a senior Boeing Captain go to Swoop and he sounds happier than a pig in shit after taking close to a 50% pay cut to work much longer days. To each their own.
