I get paid 26 times a year. So that works out to 520 bucks a year, not 480. So apparently, math is hard!

I spoke with an Encore pilot a while back about this. They don't do stand ups, instead will fly in late on day, have a full day off then leave in the morning a day and a half later. But don't feel bad, I only know this because I've worked there 14 years. We used to be on a salary. It changed to an hourly wage with a minimum guarantee about 2000. So pilots are paid per flight hour. The agreement might as well be written with invisible ink. The term salary doesn't mean anything.
