Never going to happen. You need people upfront to make unorthodox decisions. (Sully, Sioux city....etc). Would you sit in the back knowing the pilot is on the ground halfway around the world?

when jazz was operating the rj's in to yellowknife, i seem to remember that -40 was a no go temp. i believe it had something to do with the flaps.... i'm sure someone on here can verify this.

well i still can't believe that we need to keep talking about this but the show is edited... if i was a betting man, i would say the shot of the wrong fire indication was a mistake made while trying to pick up some footage to add in later.

my guess is that when the final report does come out it is going to implicate some very respected aspects of not only our industry but the country as a whole. it will be an eye opener. like ettw said, everything has to be in order because once it's out... it's out.
