Re: Finally hit the 100 hr mark but.....

I used to have the same issues too, till the very near past. Actually I still have some but it doesn't affect my flying as it used to. Fly with an experience instructor and during take off roll mess with the plane. Most likely you already know Cessnas are very forgiving. I am pretty sure it will hel...

Re: Confed AFM Questions

Does anybody know if there is a math assessment test? I now know that there is one for english for sure. I think I've read, somewhere from the college website, that all new first years are to write the math assessment test as well as the english one but this one will be on the 9th @ 4pm. There are ...

Re: Confed AFM Questions

If you are going to live in Sibley Hall, it is mandatory..you will have paid 2200 CDN for 1 year. Don't buy a meal plan unless you'r...

Re: Mature student? (confed.)

Confed only accepts immature students... I'm on my first year now and 31 years old. I took a math test last year which was pretty easy and did not take any other test. Actually I have degree, maybe that makes the difference.. also there are many students in our class who can be considered as mature...

Naw sez, it will end quite soon so enjoy it while it lasts. Once this is finished the flight training forum can go back to normal and there will be no negativity because they can stroke each other with warm fuzzies and feel good stuff. I'll just have to find some other form of entertainment. Actual...

Re: Is this an indicator of where we are headed?

most probably oil prices will be around 170 USD/barrel next year nowadays. I think higher prices nothing to do with supply and demand, It 's all about the investment of multinational companies. 4 years ago Crude oil price was about 30 USD. Alberta has huge reserves but the cost to get Oil is about 3...

Ya, I know ... and there are other, older pilots who are thin, great shape, work out in the gym hours every day, and every meal is painstakingly chosen, so that they meet the blood test numbers (LDL cholesterol, blood sugar, etc, etc) that Transport demands they meet. You will get it right away. Th...

Re: Is this an indicator of where we are headed?

Crude Oil price is 129.05 USD now. and one year estimation is 167.77 USD. that means we'll face higher costs in closing days. Actually increase in oil prices is not related with the difficulties to get. Actually technology is getting better. It's more about speculations. Countries like USA, UK, Holl...
