Well you got the best of me...I did realize none of them had the signature "round-skewed" look as a fish eye, but I must say #1 comes close as the angle of the chopper compared to the rest of the slide. However I must have stared at that first picture for about 15 minutes last right cause something ...

I agree to some extent, however it varies....My first job was on a 207 and I was clearing in the area of 30k...and looking at first year teaching jobs, they only get in the area of 35k...now as for most KA, Metro, medevac FO's, well i think the 20-30k is a bit weak...but in my position, i still nee...

Don't know for sure whether it matters or not, -40 on the ground is alot denser air than -40 at 20-30,000 feet...

I couldn't agree more with you DOC, however, a few hundred pounds, on the van that crashed in YWG, was a contributing factor
