Re: Ferrying light singles jobs ?

I don't get this industry's mentality of someone having to work slave labour jobs in harsh condition...

Re: Ferrying light singles jobs ?
Thanks for your reply North Shore, I recognize the fact that companies specialized in ferrying airplanes would probably require a little more than 250 hours, but what job and company doesn't it ? Still some pilots do manage to get jobs with lower times than mine.. I have been trying getting a single...

And what happens if you were outside Canada for a couple of weeks, a couple of times vacationing in the last 5 years ?? Will they try to check with these countries or deny your RP because you went on a vacation over seas?? I mean who does not leave the country a few times every few years ?!!!

Best of luck cplpilot, I am in 'almost' the same boat, i am finishing my cpl and it looks as if i will have to go to Africa to fly for a living for a while (prolly 10 years commitment). I know that for some, having a dual citizenship and a shot at a right seat on an A320, seems like a good opportunit...

short Field in a 172 is frustrating me !!! HELP
Hi there, Getting ready for the CPL ride but those ShortField landings are getting frustrating. The 172 seems to want to float forever and ever!!! I usually do a shallow approach, drag it in to the threshold and chop the power just before the threshold (Aiming to touch down on the numbers) however it...

They will stay grounded until Wednesday 'at least'! I'm very disappointed as well, they seemed To be running a very safe and smooth operation. I wonder what's Transports problem with them ?!
I really hope they get back up and running very soon, it was frustrating enough to move PenAir !

Re: Is flight training in crisis...
Thanks for the reply everyone.. The real dilama is that I am paying $45/hour of my hard work and sweat and I would like to see results for it . Nothing is wrong with a class 4 teaching to solo level or even PPL. But for a CPL or multi-IFR you need an experienced IFR rated pilot with some real IFR ex...

I might sound bitter but it is becoming almost impossible to find a class 2 or higher instructor in the GTA to teac...
