I have what I have been told is competitive flight times/experience but haven't heard a thing. Application has been in since the new year. I believe they are slowing down the hiring this year quite a bit. I had heard of people getting contacted within a month for interviews if they were competitive ...

Its quite competitive, but a growing market, especially the Pacific rim.

I found it equally puzzling. I think this format, multiple choice depending how many hours you have, might make it easier for their HR people to sort through resumes. Are they actively interviewing this month and in Feb? I've heard hiring has slowed down a bit since some of Embraer Jet sims are goin...

Air France does have a subfleet of Airbus 319s? that the use for longer range international service to African/Middle East destinations. Theoretically they could use one of these for CDG-YYT service, and they tweak the Air St. Pierre schedule for arriving/departing passengers. From a pax perspective...

I put in my WestJet application last week. I have over 7500 hrs flight time, slightly more than that in multi-engine turbine equipment. Out of sheer curiosity, how long does the application process take? I thought the Workopolis site was very clunky and awkward, and it doesn't inspire much confidenc...
