Isn't Life Flight Ornge?
That's their call-sign, this is the company name.
I don't know much about anything, but I'd say it's a safe bet that Ornge isn't starting a base in Oregon. :smt081

Re: Decent Places to live in Toronto near transit to Pearson

Does one eventually get used to the smell of tinkle downtown? Anytime I am down there it always hits me like a flying frying pan to the face. I'm not cut out for city life, I suppose, although I do loathe my commute. Can't have it all.

Pictures were ugly, glad all are safe. Greece lost a Canadair CL-215 fire-fighting aircraft on 26 June, the third major accident involving Hellenic Air Force CL-215/415 aircraft since 2014. The aircraft (number 1111) crash landed some 30 km north-west of Athens after reportedly suffering an engine p...

I'm worried that if I get him a job that he is just going to buy more kit cars. Ladies and gentlemen, I just can't have that. The world has enough problems without some beige jumpsuit wearing guy wheeling around in a kit car without the right to work. What's wrong with beige? Very soothing colour :...

If there is nothing in the agreement about repayment of training fees, then they wouldn't have a leg to stand on if they wanted to come after you. I strongly recommend everyone read the wording very carefully!

Re: Singapore B773 enroute on Jun 27th 2016, engine oil leak

Looks like a good reason to evacuate to me. I was thinking that as well. You'd have to give me a pretty damn good reason to keep everyone seated to watch that. However, it's a safe assumption that this crew, in this particular instance, had better information than me sitting at my desk. Benefit of ...

Re: Sunwing is starting a cadet program

What is the plan for the kiddies to obtain their ATPL coming in with min time and an IATRA? Does 3000 hours of Boeing time, with 200 hours of piston college time make for a captain who makes good command decisions? Or is AS304 "Making Good Command Decisions" now covered in college? Sounds like havin...

Re: Next Jet ?

It's being run through ., so bases would most likely be YUL (doesn't run through YUY) and it appears the King Air is the only aircraft branded as Nextjet at this point. This is just me connecting the dots from everything I have seen. My best guess is that .'s pilots are in the cockpit. Their hiring ...
