Good Day!
Question for all the Citation Encore pilots. What would be the tallest a person could be to comfortably fly the airplane?
Thanks!

Re: FAA ATPL Conversion new regs
I just completed the conversion today. Was fairly straight forward albeit the ATP CTP course was a massive disappointment for having to drop 5K on the course. This is what I did and I am sure others have their opinions on how best to do it: 1. You have to verify your TC license with the FAA in Oklah...

Super Otter - Texas Turbine Conversion
Good Day,
I am hoping to find someone who is or has flown the converted otter with the Garret 900hp.
Ideally looking for operators who are using them in big open water.
Also anyone who is or has flown the Caravan with the same conversion please drop me a message.

Re: Tired crew declares PAN PAN
T-Berry, Are the pilots at your company Low Vis qualified for CAT II? If so with the exception of the equipment, which I am sure is installed on your aircraft but just not maintained under the MP, its not a lot more time to go through ALL the Low Vis procedures with Auto Land. I very highly doubt th...

Re: Twin Otter Ferry Flight
I just stumbled upon this post and quite enjoyed the read until Lurch came into the picture. The guy or girl clearly cannot read otherwise he would have clearly understood that Pan was talking about the current config of his own aircraft. Pretty sad sometimes when you get someone who wants to inform...

Yellowknife Airport
Does anyone know if the First Air 767 goes into Yellowknife? I am trying to find out some information regarding the airport for a B767. I am wondering what the PCN numbers might be there and if First Air takes in their 767 to Yellowknife.

Re: Strong x-wind? declare an emergency.
FYI, The B767 does not have a limitation for X-Wind landings. 40 kts is the Max demonstrated X-WND Component. Obviously it would be handful, as with any aircraft in 30+ kt X-WNDS, but can be done safely.

Which course or prep did you use for the ATP conversion. The Gleim website has a couple of ATP books and courses. I just want to do the conversion.

Shut one down to prevent yaw? Unless it wasnt producing power what makes you think anyone would shut an engine down? If it was producing power they would not be in the river either!

Re: Off to the Maldives Thanks Everyone!
When did FO's in the Maldives take a pay cut? I was there last year as a brand new captain and while I was FO the previous 6 months I was making more the 700 bucks a month (obviously not including the base in CDN). The CP at Borek was always more then fair to me, got raises when they were due, circl...

The guy is not going to fly for a very long time, if at all again. Maybe a little compassion or at the very least some useful discu...
