I have heard them also. Also, on final one clear day, I was landing behind a 727 in a Beech 99. I had noticed a blurred area in front of us, somewhat like a distortion off our left side, almost like on a hot day. Then we got rocked by the other one. We weren't that close, but just one of those days ...

I believe the C is Canadian as previously stated. I believe I had read one time the Y means "yes", weather is reported at this station.

Simulated feather for the PA-31-350 and B-99
Hey fellow aviators. Does anyone have some accurate numbers for power and prop settings for simulating feather on the PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftan and the Beech 99 during flight training? I have been using about 18" and 2200 and 400-600 and 2000 rpm respectively.
