I have used and greatly appreciated the agreement as an AC pilot. I occasionally stop in and say hello, but most days I'm just looking forward to getting away from everything aviation for a few days and can't wait to get off of the aircraft - no matter which company is operating it. No one has seen the details yet, but it doesn't sound like the "plan" ACPA presented. The MEC signed a clause stating they would not speak ill of this TA when presenting it to the membership...Air Canada pilots should read the union forum...

If you want to throw stones, maybe start with the guys that hold down 2 jobs at separate companies in aviation and really prevent someone else from making a living. LOA's are pretty far down on the list compared to that one don't you think?? I see nothing wrong with taking the LOA to help a junior g...

OMG, do I have advise for you, too many friggin days of dragging a dumb cushin across the ramp in YXL, and crawing out the emerg exit of the 99 to get on top of the wing and check the oil.
