In the past I've done some emergency line for N registered aircraft. I was endorsed on type and could release the aircraft through our company AMO. I can also remember releasing a crj 900 witch I wasn't endorsed on, through the air carrier maintance controller who allowed me to carry out bird strike...

There is lots of jobs for an AME in calgary. Yes the cost of living has gone up a lot lately but if you compare it toronto or Vancouver it is still resonable. It will be tough to support a family on one AME's income so hopefully mama is planning to work as well.

I have always serviced crew 02 with bottle left in aircraft. Some operaters may require the bottle to be removed when servicing. The MM should be a good reference on if it requires removal for servicing.
