Re: Shaw Cable

The sign was likely taken down for ease the number of complaints they receive from customers when they're constantly jacking their TV & Internet fees up while having a very visible corporate flight department.

Malaysian plane shot down, crashes in Ukraine

its very early, but some sad news in on another Malaysian jet down, KYIV, Ukraine – A Ukrainian official said a Malaysian passenger plane carrying 295 people was shot down Thursday over a town in the east of the country. Re: Airbus A-310 Overwing Emergency Exit Question

It has been removed before flight. They are just storing the pin there until it goes back into the slide disarm mechanism at the end of the flight. Absolutely correct, the pin is stored in another hole during closing and flight, the plastic guard is then closed over. After landing the disarm lever ...

Controllers - many retired and the remaining controllers got offered jobs around western canada If any of them are lurking on here I want to say thanks for your service, for putting up with me as a student pilot years ago, and that it's been a pleasure flying in and out all these years. Best wishes...

Re: US Airways Express boots blind pax and dog

This is just another example of what it takes to keep an airline flying or not. Blind adherence to rules and regulations is cold comfort when the pooch gets screwed. It just points to a lack of operational and social intelligence on the parts of the sticky operatives. The FA ignored the potential d...

1900 and 2500 hours for the crew of a 737! http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/Russian-Officials-Blame-Crew-In-Fatal-Crash220987-1.html Really? 2500 hrs for the Capt I am assuming, really? OMG! I don't mean to be disrespectful of the dead, but only in Russia comes to mind. I'm not sure what the la...

Re: Project: Parkland Airport - West of Edmonton

I am still at a loss for this plan, it does not make any sense what-so-ever! Generally I am all for development and growth but this project just seems out there from a business perspective, in my humble opinion. If you guys are planning it for a training airport okay but for a Corporate/charter airp...

Re: YXD countdown has begun

Sadly, for me I likely will never fly in or out of XD ever again, I expect my last flight happened in the fall of 2010 when I flew a CRJ900 in there after YEG was down due to fog. It was fun bringing the 900 in there and wondered if I managed to piss-off any of the closure supporters. I remember fir...
