Transport Ca stats on pass/fail for written/flight tests
Is there a site where they keep stats on how many times a pilot has attempted to write a test of flight test? I am trying to determine whether a pilot that has written their commercial written test 3 times makes him a worse pilot than a pilot that passed the test the first time. I am debating this w...

Re: Air Canada cuts 2000 jobs
650 ground crew
500 flight crew which I assume includes flight attendants
400 passenger agents.
This is what I read.
As well as of August 1 of this year Jazz is permanently shutting down it's Hamilton base which flies to YOW and YUL.

Re: Air Canada cuts 2000 jobs
V1Rotate, unless you work for Air Canada and if you don't you have no right to make those comments. Why don't you go to some of AC bases and talk to the actual employees and ask them how they like working for AC even in the good times and they will tell you. Uncle Miltie made 43 million last year be...

yea, I finally found one that can finish my rating at the school that will also hire me. Very hard to find a class 1 that has time to instruct new instructor candidates.

Re: S. Ontario school with 2 or more class 1's
so just curious,
should I ask the school that wants to finish my rating and employ me after to also pay for part of the rating? Is that too pushy for me to ask, they are 6 instructors short for the cadet program and they need 6 to do it, so desperation is in.
thanks

Re: S. Ontario school with 2 or more class 1's
In the first scenario you raise: the guy who does your training will hire you and be your supervisor will do your training. But only two days a week. Did you think to ask whether they could give you 2 bookings a day? Did you ask whether the other class I could do the final review or a portion of the...

Re: S. Ontario school with 2 or more class 1's
If you had the chance would you fly with a class 1 like 3 to 4 times a week at another school other than the one that you will be employed or would you train at the school that will give you the instructing job but the class 1 there only guarantees 2 days a week to train. My dillema is I need to fin...
